Biography
Cathy began her professional theater, dance and mime training
in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At fifteen, Cathy collaborated with
her photographer sister to co-author The Mime Alphabet Book (Lerner
Publications 1973.) In 1986 she was awarded a Jerome Foundation grant to
study with French master mime Marcel Marceau.
For several years, General Mills employed her mime talents as the Yoplait
Mime to appear at press events and sales meetings, in video and print, from
New York City to Palm Springs. Other corporate clients include AT&T, 3M,
Target Corporation, U.S. Veteran's Association, Control Data, Bell
Telephone, IBM, WCCO-TV and Norstan.
Choreography and stage credits include Minnesota Opera, Chanhassen Dinner
Theater, Mixed Blood Theater, Northstar Opera, Kentucky Opera, Park Square
Theater and the Great American History Theater.
